New Mad Dukes EP slated for October release

Watch for a new 4-song Mad Dukes EP this October. The whole thing will be available for free download for a limited time and will include the following four songs:
1 - Gone Gone Gone (a Mad Dukes take on a Kim Simpson solo track)
2 - The Day Sir Douglas Died (a tribute to Texas' finest, Doug Sahm)
3 - Sound of the Rain (a Mad Dukes take on the Rank and File classic)
4 - Invasion Song 2 (an expanded, full band version of the opening track from "The Mad Dukes Sing and Play for You")

Kim Simpson at That Music Store, Sat. Aug. 4

Simpson of the Mad Dukes will be playing a free (and rare) acoustic
show at "That Music Store," one of the Salt Lake City area's primo
musical gear outlets, on Saturday, August 4, at 7 PM. Joining him on
percussion will be Kim's brother and honorary Mad Duke Kendall. Kim will be playing songs from his older albums along with
current Mad Duke material and a boatload of unreleased stuff. Don't
miss out!! That Music Store is located at 793 E Fort Union Blvd,
Midvale, Utah.

Kyle and Kim on KOOP radio, Sat. July 21 at noon

Like kids in a candy shop, Mad Dukes Kyle and Kim will be co-hosting KOOP radio's "Swinger" show on Sat., July 21, spinning some of their
